Emergency Ride Home
You have a ride home if an emergency ever strikes. In the event of an emergency, Parking & Transportation Services has partnered with Lyft to provide courtesy rides home for UA employees and students who bike, walk, carpool, or used transit to get to school.
This program is designed to encourage people to use alternative transportation programs and feel confident in their ability to get home if an emergency arises. During an emergency, if left without transportation, an employee or student may utilize our program.
WHAT CONSTITUTES AN EMERGENCY?
An emergency may include a student or employee feeling too ill to bike or walk home, a carpool partner leaving early due to illness, or missing the last bus due to unexpected overtime.
The emergency ride home program will not transport customers requiring immediate medical attention directly to a hospital. In this situation, it is best to call 911 for emergency assistance.
