Temporary Vehicle Storage Parking Permit - 6th Street Garage

Students, are you heading home for the holidays? Parking and Transportation will be offering a special Temporary Holiday Vehicle Storage Parking Permit for $95, allowing you to leave your vehicle in the 6th Street Parking Garage while you're away. This location will have enhanced security, including cameras, locked gates, and security guards for much of the day.

  • Permits are limited, so be sure to secure your spot early.
  • Your barcode will grant you access to park only at 6th St garage on the top level (through the gates) from December 11, 2024 to January 14, 2025.

How It Works:

  1. Purchase your permit through your parking account portal
  2. Receive an email with your personalized barcode.
  3. Use the barcode to enter the 6th Street garage, park your car on the top level.
  4. Remove your vehicle by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 14. If you remain in the parking garage past 5:00 PM, you will be responsible for any additional parking fees.

This convenient, secure service is designed to keep your vehicle protected during the holiday season, so you can enjoy your time off without worry.

Winter Break Drop-Off Hours:

Show your barcode and a form of I.D. to a staff member on the top level of the garage. The staff member will open the gate and allow you to park. Once the vehicle is parked, it will not be available for pick up until December 1. If you need the vehicle sooner, you may contact Parking and Transportation Services Dispatch at (520) 621-1108 to make arrangements.

  • December 11, Wednesday: 8am -9am
  • December 12, Thursday: 11am-12pm
  • December 13, Friday: 8am -9am & 3-4pm
  • December 16, Monday: 10am -11am
  • December 17, Tuesday: 8am -9am & 3pm-4pm
  • December 18, Wednesday: 8am -9am
  • December 19, Thursday: 8am -9am & 3pm-5pm
  • December 20, Friday: 8am -9am
  • December 23, Monday: 8am -9am

* No vehicles can be dropped off or picked up from December 24, 2024 – January 1, 2025

Not valid in:

Service, loading zones, no parking areas, or any reserved spaces.

Pick-Up Hours:

Present your barcode to the staff member at the gate on the top level, and they will open the gate to give you access to your car.

If students need to pick up their vehicle after January 1 but before January 12, please contact PTS Dispatch at (520) 621-1108 to make arrangements.

  • January 13, Monday: 8am- 5pm
  • *January 14, Tuesday: 8am-5pm

* Vehicles must be removed by 5pm, January 14th.
