Temporary Vehicle Storage Parking Permit - 6th Street Garage

Students, are you heading home for the holidays? Parking and Transportation will be offering a special Temporary Holiday Vehicle Storage Parking Permit for $40, allowing you to leave your vehicle in the 6th Street Parking Garage while you're away. This location will have enhanced security, including cameras, locked gates, and security guards for much of the day.

  • Permits are limited, so be sure to secure your spot early.
  • Your barcode will grant you access to park only at 6th St garage on the top level (through the gates) from November 21, 2024 to December 2, 2024.

How It Works:

  1. Purchase your permit through your parking account portal
  2. Receive an email with your personalized barcode.
  3. Use the barcode to enter the 6th Street garage, park your car on the top level.
  4. Remove your vehicle by 5:00 PM on Monday, December 2. If you remain in the parking garage past 5:00 PM, you will be responsible for any additional parking fees.

This convenient, secure service is designed to keep your vehicle protected during the holiday season, so you can enjoy your time off without worry.

Thanksgiving Drop-Off Hours:

Show your barcode and a form of I.D. to a staff member on the top level of the garage. The staff member will open the gate and allow you to park. Once the vehicle is parked, it will not be available for pick up until December 1. If you need the vehicle sooner, you may contact Parking and Transportation Services Dispatch at (520) 621-1108 to make arrangements.

  • November 21: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • November 22: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM & 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • November 25: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • November 26: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
  • November 27: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM & 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

*November 28 & 29 are University holidays so vehicles cannot be dropped off or picked up.

Not valid in:

Service, loading zones, no parking areas, or any reserved spaces.

Pick-Up Hours:

Present your barcode to the staff member at the gate on the top level, and they will open the gate to give you access to your car.

  • December 1: 8:00 AM – 3:00 AM
  • December 2: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (All vehicles must exit by 5:00 PM)
