Special Event Visitor Parking
Street and metered parking is available throughout campus for Visitors. Parking is also available at garages on a space-available basis. Parking is subject to permit and event day restrictions.Visitor Parking Map Index
Special Event Parking Services
Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) coordinates parking for over 350 campus events each year. Special Events can assist with parking arrangements for your events, banquets, workshops, ceremonies, meetings, performances, conferences, etc. To ensure the best possible parking accommodations Advance notice is contact Special Events at (520) 621-7293.When planning your event, where your guests will park is an important aspect to take into consideration, as parking on campus is limited. If 75 or more vehicles are coming to campus for your event, please contact Special Events. In most cases, we can discuss parking reservations, lot monitors, pre-paid parking passes, cart service and alternative options for your guests.
Special Event Signage
Special Events can provide signage for lots and garages on event days; which provide parking directions, instructions for restricted or closed parking areas, if permit or cost is required etc. Contact PTS at (520) 621-7293 for more information or to make arrangements for event signage.Specific Campus Event Regulations & Parking Information

- Mall access is available for loading and unloading to those who have an approved Mall Event form. Campus Use Forms must be approved by Visitor Programs. Contact Visitor Programs at (520) 621-3710 for more information.
- Permit Holder Parking Restrictions for Special Events: -
- Parking and Transportation Services has the authority to reserve parking lots and garages in part or whole for the purpose of allowing parking for special events. Permit holders will be notified of temporary parking relocation assignments prior to event day.

At the beginning of the Fall semester and end of spring semester, certain areas near the residence halls are turned into short-term loading and unloading zones to facilitate students who are moving in and out of the residence halls. More details and maps are available at

- Road Closures:
- Please note events requiring road closures, Parking and Transportation must be contacted at least three (3) weeks prior. All road closures must have barricade plans AND signature from PTS Director or assigned PTS representative.
