Temporary Vehicle Storage Parking Permit - (Roof Only) – SUMMER 2026

Summer Break is just around the corner! Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) is offering a special Temporary Summer Break Vehicle Storage Parking Permit for $225, allowing you to leave your vehicle in the 6th Street Parking Garage while you're away. This location will feature enhanced security, including cameras and locked gates. Permits are limited, so be sure to secure your spot early.

Your barcode will grant you access to park only at 6th Street Garage, on the top level (through the gates), from May 4, through Aug. 21, 2026.


How It Works

  1. Purchase a Temporary Vehicle Storage Parking Permit through the parking account portal.
  2. You will then receive an email with your personalized barcode.
  3. Use the barcode to enter the 6th Street Garage and park your car on the top level.
  4. Remove your vehicle by 5:00 p.m. on Fri., Aug. 21, 2026. If your vehicle remains in the garage past 5:00 p.m., you will be responsible for any additional parking fees.


Summer Drop-Off Hours

Show your barcode and a form of ID to a staff member on the top level of the garage. The staff member will open the gate and allow you to park.

  • May 4 (Mon.):  9 a.m. - 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  • May 5 (Tue.): 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • May 6 (Wed.): 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • May 8 (Fri.): 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • May 11 (Mon.): 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • May 12 (Tue.): 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • May 13 (Wed.): 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

 

Not valid in:

Service, loading zones, no parking areas, or any reserved spaces.

Pick-Up Hours:

If students need to pick up their vehicle before the dates below, please contact PTS Dispatch at (520) 621-1108 to make arrangements. 

  • Aug. 17 (Mon.): 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
  • Aug. 18 (Tue.): 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Aug. 19 (Wed.): 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
  • Aug. 20 (Thu.): 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
  • Aug. 21 (Fri.): 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
