New Park & Ride and Cat Tran Route Launching Fall 2026

Starting with the new academic year on August 17, Parking and Transportation has a new north-of-campus Park and Ride location and Cat Tran route. Park and Ride options will no longer be available in lots 9004 and 9007. There are now two Park and Ride locations available for commuting to campus, serviced by Cat Tran routes: 

North of Campus - Campbell Ave. Park and Ride  

  • Located on Campbell Ave. and Roger Rd. at the Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (CEAC) 1951 E Roger Rd., Tucson, AZ 85719. 

  • A parking permit is required to park in this lot. Cost: $105 annually. 

  • Serviced by Cat Tran Routes during the academic calendar year only; not serviced during the summer.  

  • Campus stops: Martin Luther King (MLK) & Learning Services Building. A Cat Tran boarding pass is required for all stops north of Helen, with the exception of stops at Roger Rd. and Campbell Ave., which require Cat Card only.  

South of Campus - The Bridges at Tech Park 

  • Located off Kino Parkway near UA Tech Park, at 1600 Idea Lane, Tucson, AZ 85713.

  • A permit is required to park in this lot. Cost: $105 annually.

  • Serviced by the Red Cat Tran route with year-round service.  

  • Campus stops: Campus Health & Optical Sciences. A Cat Tran boarding pass is not required on the Red Route.
