Department Reservations & Validations (PBC)
University departments can conveniently manage guest parking through reservations and validations. Below are details on reservation & validation options, procedures, and rates.
Please note that per University Policy 9.10 General Expenditure Policy university staff, faculty, administrators, and students are expected to cover the cost of their parking. The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) has stated that parking fees are Non-Academic fees and are considered a personal expense, which is considered an unallowable expenditure.
Deciding What You Need
Lot Reservations
Departments can reserve parking spaces for visitors in available lots. Reservations guarantee a parking spot in the selected lot.
Billing: Departments are billed based on the number of reservations requested, not used.
Garage Validations
Departments can also purchase garage validations to cover visitor parking costs. Unlike reservations, validations do not guarantee a space. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Billing: Departments select validations based on anticipated guest parking needs. Validations are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
PBC Lot Reservation Details
University departments can ensure convenient parking for their guests by reserving spaces in advance. Reservations guarantee a parking spot in your selected lot.
