Department Reservations & Validations (PBC)

University departments can conveniently manage guest parking through reservations and validations. Below are details on reservation & validation options, procedures, and rates.

Please note that per University Policy 9.10 General Expenditure Policy university staff, faculty, administrators, and students are expected to cover the cost of their parking. The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) has stated that parking fees are Non-Academic fees and are considered a personal expense, which is considered an unallowable expenditure.


Deciding What You Need

Lot Reservations

Departments can reserve parking spaces for visitors in available lots. Reservations guarantee a parking spot in the selected lot.

Billing: Departments are billed based on the number of reservations requested, not used.

Garage Validations

Departments can also purchase garage validations to cover visitor parking costs. Unlike reservations, validations do not guarantee a space. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Billing: Departments select validations based on anticipated guest parking needs. Validations are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

PBC Lot Reservation Details

University departments can ensure convenient parking for their guests by reserving spaces in advance. Reservations guarantee a parking spot in your selected lot.

Price: $8 per day, per reservation.

Location: Lot 10003

Price: $15 per day, per reservation. Limited space.


Request Reservation:

  1. Email PTS-Phoenix@email.arizona.edu.
  2. Include your Department Name, # of spaces, date, time frame, and KFS account number.
  3. Wait for an email confirmation.

PBC Garage Validation Details

Validations do not guarantee a parking space. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Location:  PBC Garage

Hourly Rate: 
12:00 a.m. - 11:59 p.m.: $3/hour 


Request Validation:

  1. Complete the Validation Request Form.
  2. Email form to PTS-Phoenix@email.arizona.edu.
  3. Wait for an email confirmation.
  4. Validations are picked up at the PBC Garage or can be printed by the requesting department.

Request PBC Validation

Note: Validations must be ordered in increments of 30 and in denominations of $4, $8, or $16, per sheet. Validations will be billed per request, not per use. Validations will be valid for one year from date received.
