Permit Valid Dates

2025–2026

Annual: Aug 18, 2025 – Aug 16, 2026
Academic year: Aug 18, 2025 – May 22, 2026
Prorated refund deadline:
Friday, Aug 14, 2026 by 3:00 p.m.

2026–2027

Annual: Aug 17, 2026 – Aug 15, 2027
Academic year: Aug 17, 2026 – May 21, 2027
Open sales begin:
July 7, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. via Parking Portal

Renewals & Location Changes

The 2025–2026 parking portal is closed. Renewals for 2026–2027 are now available for current permit holders.

NOTE: If you plan to park during the upcoming academic year, purchase a new permit during open sales in July via the Parking Portal. If you've already renewed, begin parking in your new assigned location once it becomes active.

Requesting a location change?

Follow the same renewal steps, then choose Waitlist and your preferred permit type. Placement is not guaranteed — watch your email for availability. You may select only one waitlist location.

Summer Permits

Summer permits are available starting the first week of May but not available for online purchase. They are valid only for the current permit year. Summer permits expire at the start of the next year. Permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment methods

Employees
Credit card, check, or cash. No payroll deduction.

Students
Bursar transfer available if enrolled in summer classes.

How to Purchase

  1. Current permit holders: Email transportation@arizona.edu with your NetID, current permit location, and desired temporary location.
  2. New requests: Complete the online Purchase Form, then finalize payment by visiting the Parking and Transportation office or calling (520) 626-7275.
