Employee Reduced-Cost Occasional Use Permits


Parking & Transportation Services has available the following NEW options for university employees due to the increase in teleworking on campus.

Parking Garage Permits

Purchase a preloaded card that allows you to park for any (20) days at a cost of $120.

2021-2022 Annual: Employee Occasional Use Garage Permit
  • Valid in Sixth St., Cherry, Park & Tyndall Garages. Space not guaranteed and subject to change. Based on availability.
  • Valid thru 8/16/2021 – 8/12/2022
  • AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE 7/7/21 on the Parking Account Portal.
  • Occasional Permit can be reloaded for additional days if it's exhausted.
  • Cannot be combined with an annual or academic parking permit.
  • Accessible spaces available in all garages. Proper credentials must be displayed.
  • No refunds. Contact PTS-ParkingInformation@email.arizona.edu and we will be happy to extend the expiration date if not used within the valid timeframe, if possible.
  • Disabled option available upon request by contacting us at PTS-ParkingInformation@email.arizona.edu. Valid placard or disabled license plate registered to permit holder is required for this option.

Evening
Lower cost permit valid in garages or parking lots after a certain time of day.
  • Evening permits allow parking in undedicated spaces in surface lots after 2:30 p.m.
  • Garage evening permits are issued for a specific garage and are valid after 3:30 p.m.

Other options for occasional parking needs


Hourly Pay Parking
If you’re only on campus for a short time you can pay by the hour.
  • For hourly parking, simply download the Passport App and pay for your time.
  • Passport App parking available at surface lots around campus for $2 per hour. For a map, visit UArrive. When the map opens, click on the parking icon parking icon then PSpots parking spot icon to view available locations.

  • Most parking garages offer hourly parking for $2/ per hour with a maximum of either $10 or $16 per day.
$2 per day in Park-and-Ride Lot 9008 - Valid during Academic year only.
Even lower cost daily parking for occasional users.
  • No permit required. Simply park in the designated spaces within Parking Viewing this link requires Adobe Acrobat Viewer. Lot 9008 and pay via the Passport mobile app.
  • Ride Cat Tran into campus.

  • Only available for employees who telework, but need to come to campus occasionally.
