The University of Arizona has partnered with Tucson International Airport (TUS) to make your back-to-school travel hassle-free! During the below travel window(s), we are offering a limited number of complimentary Lyft codes (valued at $30 each) for your journey from Tucson International Airport (TUS) toampersannbsp;main campus. • BACK-TO-SCHOOL - FALL SEMESTERampersannbsp;2025
  • Lyft code portal submissions will be open from August 13, 2025 through August 31, 2025. If not redeemed, codes requested during this timeframe will expire on August 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
  • Limit one (1) code per NetID, pending availability.

HOW TO

• During the travel window, click the link below to log into the platform and request your free Lyft code.
• You will be prompted to login with your NetID.
• Click Request Code. Your Lyft code will be generated and an email confirmation with the code will be sent to your University of Arizona email address.
• Download and open the Lyft app and select Payment from the menu options. Scroll down to click on Add Lyft Pass to enter the ride code.
• Go back to the main menu to request your ride by entering your destination.

Program Details

• University of Arizona students are eligible to request one (1) Lyft code per one-way ride, pending availability.
• When using the Lyft code in the Lyft app, pickup and drop-off destinations will be limited to Main Campus and Tucson International Airport only.
• To accommodate our off-campus students, the code will allow for a pickup/drop-off location within a 2-mile radius of Main Campus.
• Codes will be invalid should you enter a pickup or drop-off destination outside the 2-mile radius of Main Campus.
• Your code is valid for use during the above travel windows. If you do not use your code during the travel window in which you submitted for, the code will become invalid.
• $30 maximum discount per code. Student is responsible for amounts exceeding the maximum discount.
• Ride prices may be impacted by traffic, time of day, special events and prime time surcharges.
• Sharing codes with other riders is prohibited.
• Limited quantities are available. We encourage you to submit for your code as early as possible.
• An active Lyft account is required to use the complimentary code(s). If you are creating a Lyft account for the first time, a personal payment method (credit card, PayPal, Cash App or Venmo) is required to create the account.

GENERAL SAFETY TIPS

• Verify your ride by making sure the license plate number, driver information, and car make and model match what you see in the app.
• Share your location and route with a friend or loved one from within the Lyft app so they can follow your ride in real time.
• Follow the Lyft vehicle on GPS via the app.
• Ask the driver to say who they are picking up.
