1. What is the Sun Tran Bus Pass Subsidy Program?
The Sun Tran Bus Pass is an annual transit pass that grants UA employees and students unlimited access to Sun Tran bus routes, and access on the future modern streetcar.

2. Who is eligible to receive a Sun Tran Bus Pass?
All UA students with a minimum of 3 credit hours, faculty and staff can obtain a Sun Tran Bus Pass. This benefit is not extended to other types of UA affiliate.

3. How much does a Sun Tran Bus Pass cost?
Any eligible University employees or students can receive the pass for a subsidized rate of up to 50% from PTS, the same rate as the current year. Purchasing an annual transit pass directly from Sun Tran would cost $275. Subsidized rates from PTS will be determined through on-going negotiations with the City of Tucson and if changes occur will be posted to this site.

4. Where and when can I get a Sun Tran Bus Pass?
Beginning mid-June, 2009 employees and students can purchase a 2009 / 2010 pass at the campus Parking & Transportation office or the Off-campus Commuter office, located in the Student Union. You can also purchase online at www.parking.arizona.edu

6. Is the Sun Tran Bus Pass only good for taking trips to the UA campus? 
No. You can use the pass to travel for any purpose to any destination on a SunTran bus. Use your Sun Tran Bus Pass on weekends, holidays and even during UA semester breaks.

7. How much money can I save by using the Sun Tran Subsidized Bus Pass?
You can save hundreds of dollars in gas expenses, maintenance costs and wear and tear on your vehicle. If riding the bus becomes your primary means for traveling to campus, you may also save money by not purchasing a parking permit.
     
8. Can I drive my car and park near a bus route?

9. Lost/Stolen/Damaged Sun Tran Subsidized Bus Passes: 
Lost or stolen U-Passes may be replaced by completing a Lost/Stolen Form. Any replacement of Lost/Stolen Sun Tran Bus Passes will be at the full Sun Tran fare rate.
