Disabled permit holders may choose between two levels of service:

Anyone who is issued an annual University of Arizona disabled parking permit must have either a valid state issued permanent disability placard in the permit holder's name or disabled license plates registered to the permit holder.

There is a daily charge for all temporary disabled permits for those who are not current permit holders. Temporary disabled permits are issued only after proper authorization has been received. Metered disabled spaces require that a placard or disabled plate is displayed and payment of the meter fee. Permits are not valid at meters. Metered disabled spaces require payment of the meter fee.

Students must visit the Campus Health Center for examination and verification of disability. Applications for a temporary disabled permit are available at the Campus Health Center. This form verifying that the applicant meets established physical limitations must be signed by a Campus Health physician and presented to Parking and Transportation Services prior to issuance of a temporary disabled permit.

Employees must obtain and present to Parking and Transportation Services a note from a physician, indicating the applicant's physical limitations and need for disabled parking.
