New Garage Daily Pass Now on Sale.

Parking & Transportation Services (PTS) is pleased to announce a new garage parking pass option.

The Garage Daily Pass is a new product offered to UA students and staff. It is ideal for alternative transportation (carpool, bus, bike) users that may need to drive a car to work on occasion. It is also useful for anyone that is paying for a space on a daily basis, or students that only have class 2 days per week, or an off-campus permit holder that would like to park close to class, or a commuter that needs to drive to a business or medical appointment.

Here are the details:

1. Each pass will be valid for 10 days of parking and will be offered at a cost of $72.00, a 10% discount off the regular daily parking rate in the garages of $ 8 per day ($80 for 10 days).

2. The pass will be valid on a space available basis in Highland, Park Avenue, Cherry Avenue, Sixth Street, Tyndall Avenue, and Main Gate Garages. The pass is not valid in the Second Street garage.

3. The new pass is valid Monday through Friday, 5AM to midnight.

4. Any usage on any given day constitutes one day's use.

5. Come and go privileges are allowed.

6. No overnight parking, no refunds or replacements, and not valid for Special Events.

7. The pass expires on June 30, 2010.
