Emergency Ride Home Program
Who Qualifies as an Employee? · Automatic Permit Renewal · Daily Scratch-Off Parking Permits · Pre-Tax Parking Permit and Bus Plan · Employee Bus Pass · Emergency Ride Home Program
Parking & Transportation Services is pleased to announce their free emergency ride home program for University of Arizona employees who are alternative transportation users. The program was implemented to encourage people to use alternative transportation, yet have the ability to get home or to the daycare, if an emergency arises, without being stranded.
What constitutes an emergency?
An emergency is some action or situation that an employee has no control over. For example: an employee is not feeling well; a sick child; or their carpool partner is sick and plans to leave work early, thereby leaving the employee stranded. The emergency ride home program will not transport a sick employee to an urgent care facility, unless the person needs to get there because of a sick family member.
